RELEVO-EASE Oral Pain Gel (for topical application)

RELEVO-EASE Oral Pain Gel is a topical local anaesthetic with antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties based on Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) essential oil for application to the gums, lips and mucous membranes in the mouth only.

RELEVO-EASE Oral Pain Gel contains a blend of essential oil and other ingredients. The active ingredient of RELEVO-EASE Oral Pain Gel helps to inhibit pain transmission and prevent pain caused by mouth ulcers, pressure points, gingivitis, cold sores, and teething. This product may be used by adults, children and babies aged 6 months and over.

Patch test before use to ensure you or your child is not allergic to any ingredients.

Method of administration & the usual dose:

Adults, children and babies over 6 months of age: A pea-sized amount [0,4 g containing 2 mg Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) essential oil] is to be squeezed onto a clean finger or clean cotton wool applicator and applied gently to the affected areas of the gums, lips and mucous membranes in the mouth. Repeat administration after 20 minutes, then every 3 hours thereafter if necessary. Do not use more than 8 times in a 24-hour period. Avoid contact with eyes.

RELEVO-EASE Oral Pain Gel is a light blue opaque gel liquid with a characteristic clove odour in a white polypropylene (PP) tube containing 25 g. The tube and Patient Information Leaflet (PIL) are enclosed in a carton.
